Mad About Cartoons

Bill Wray is trying to make the transition fine art but is known as a cartoonist, a background painter/ Art director and sometimes animation director. This will be the place he post his ocasional animation and cartooning work and also be a place to bitch or wax sentimentally about cartoons in general. It’s been a love and hate relationship for many years and the long journey may not be quite over.

These look gorgeous Bill! Post them on Facebook... blogspot it's kind of deserted lately...!
These remind me of the Frazetta`s sketchbook i bought lately... it's full of great color tryouts that he did before starting with the final piece.

Hey Mr. William Wray!

Guess what?

I, Timothy McKenzie, am a huge and crazy fan of Genndy Tartakovsky's Samurai Jack cartoon show itself!

And you know what, Bill?

Genndy Tartakovsky's Samurai Jack is always one of the masterpieces of the animation medium in general (especially one of the non-Disney variety) and always will be such!

And one day, Bill, even if I have the power to become a filmmaker and/or animation artist or so, and just as J.J. Abrams paid extended and heartfelt tribute to Steven Spielberg with his 2011 movie, Super 8, I, Timothy McKenzie, would like to pay extended and heartfelt tribute to Genndy Tartakovsky (the guy who did Samurai Jack as well as Dexter's Laboratory and also Hotel Transylvania) and his 2d animation work (most notably Samurai Jack and/or Dexter's Lab) in ways best suited to Genndy's talent and genius--presumably with a part live-action and part animated cartoon fantasy movie project which I intend to call "ToonTalker"!

Just saying!
