Oh man, love it! So much to look at! I bet it gets annoying to be censored.
When I read mad magazines I enjoy finding all the visual gags in the pictures.. its the reason I purchase mad.
The written stuff doesn't appeal to me at all, and Ill flip through the mag looking at only the pictures.
That said, it is possible to over do the visuals and the image becomes too cluttered, I guess this depends on the size it will be printed, So maybe thats why they cut out so many of your gags.
Your original version is really funny and cartoony though =)

Mad and I parted ways.We were to difficult for each other.
I loved Mad way back when, but these days it's just so flimsy and, in my opinion, weak. You're far too good for them Sir.
Your version is obviously much better... censorship should be banned ;)
But seriously, the changes are ofcourse ridiculous,good thing you put your own version online, that way we can still enjoy that great art!
