Mad About Cartoons

Bill Wray is trying to make the transition fine art but is known as a cartoonist, a background painter/ Art director and sometimes animation director. This will be the place he post his ocasional animation and cartooning work and also be a place to bitch or wax sentimentally about cartoons in general. It’s been a love and hate relationship for many years and the long journey may not be quite over.

Done and done. Looking forward to the new season!

The moon bg is a beauty... is it partially or all digital, or are you guys still doing traditional paintings like the first seasons?

these are fantastic. i love the show. reminds me of the old cartoons i used to love. i think a lot of that is due to the feel the background and the style of characters instills in me. i sort of want to give a go at background designs, what do you use when you create your backgrounds?

The toilet bg is stunningly gross! Like the dirtiest toilet in scotland from 'Trainspotting'!

(had to re post it because it was full of errors...my English aint what it used to be...)

Hi Mr Wary, long time fan from Argentina here.
I wont add to the already long posts of admiration, you are a huge artist i know it and i've been knowing it for years.
What i do want is to ask if there will ever be a chance to read more Big Blown Baby comics, i've read the four issues mini series like 20 times so im in urgent need for new stuff.

I know it didn't do so well, "failed to meet its public" is the preferred nomenclature i believe...
but i love every frame of it, it is truly a fun comic book by the true meaning of fun, i actually laugh out loud when i read it.

So here's hoping for more, maybe a one shot special? I don't know!
Give us some fun stuff Bill, you are one of the very few that actually know how to do that.

Meanwhile give my best to the surviving members of the Furshlugginer family, the cow, the dung beetle and of course, the balls.

Cheers!
