Mad About Cartoons
Bill Wray is trying to make the transition fine art but is known as a cartoonist, a background painter/ Art director and sometimes animation director. This will be the place he post his ocasional animation and cartooning work and also be a place to bitch or wax sentimentally about cartoons in general. It’s been a love and hate relationship for many years and the long journey may not be quite over.

Great work as usual, Bill!
I'm still really, really sore about the cancellation news, what with the refined design/animation and wilder gags in Season 2. THE MIGHTY B! is my favorite current cartoon series by far (along with THE VENTURE BROS.), not to mention becoming one of my favorites, period!
I really hope Nickelodeon changes its mind at some point...
Geez, these keep getting better! You're a friggin' genius!
I'm still confused about Nick's dumb ass decision to scrap this show...it was the only good thing on TV.
Hey Bill what happened to "The Mighty B!" since you bring more title.
Any more details on the politics and decision, or would that be talking out of school?
This is inGENIOUS! It really sucks that the Bee is ending. It's the last great cartoon on Nick.
Hi Bill. I just discovered your blog, while checking out Katie Rices' blog, that I got from John K's Blog. I love your work. I understand where your coming from. I also am a cartoonist, illustrator-you know the drill. It's like Bob Hope trying to go "straight",and do Shakespeare. I've seen some of your fine art on your web site. It's fantastic. My wife is gently trying to push me in that direction. The thing is , I feel more creative, when I do what I do. I'm diffidently not saying one is better than the other. You can't compare the two genre's. It sounds like you went to the same art school I did. Follow what feels right. As Paul Anka, Once placed in Frank Sinatras mouth,"I did it, my-way."

beatiful works!
One Million Years Bee C! That's the episode I storyboarded! These title cards are brilliant.
Best of luck transitioning to fine art. It's been done before. Dave Cooper comes to mind and Carl Barks sold a lot of paintings...
