Mad About Cartoons
Bill Wray is trying to make the transition fine art but is known as a cartoonist, a background painter/ Art director and sometimes animation director. This will be the place he post his ocasional animation and cartooning work and also be a place to bitch or wax sentimentally about cartoons in general. It’s been a love and hate relationship for many years and the long journey may not be quite over.

Alright awesome!
Oh my God! I'm in love with these paintings. They look so beautiful. Thanks for posting these. I couldn't stop staring at the 2nd and 3rd paintings. They look amazing! It's because of you I got into painting. So inspiring.
wow, nasty! I can't wait either to see what it is!
gross and disgusting, I love it! beautifully painted too.
Proving yet again that you're the master of the cartoon closeup.
SICK!!!
You're awesome.
That's some awesome tighty-whitey rot!
the gauze bandage feel of those Y fronts is disturbingly realistic, KUDOS!
Id say it's plankton, but those big daddy rat fink eyes keep me guessing.
rad! i don't EVER want to know what it is
These are GREAT! I love all the little grimy details.
Fun!!! Big fan of yours. Glad you have blogged your toon stuff!

I just noticed you share a birthday with Cal Howard. ;)
Espectaculares las pinturas! Su estilo es exelente, muchas gracias por toda la inspiracion!! Saludos y gracias de nuevo!!
I sure can see your mark on The Ren and Stimpy Show. These images are super gross. Hard to look at a bit. Where did that thing's nipple go? Was it self-inflicted, maliciously removed, or perhaps the result of some horrible accident? He needs a hug.
Hahaha, the sucker and the dollar bill. I think I find these so appealing because it's hard to find really competent painters out there with a great sense of humor like you got. Dunno why, but most painters that I know are serious folk with frown wrinkles on their face.
What're your materials of choice for stuff like this? Acrylics on illustration board?
this is bob sponge with some beers ??? jeje
